Cardi B is honouring the memory of late rapper Takeoff after attending his burial with her husband, Offset. The death was made even more personal for all concerned by the fact that Takeoff, a member of the Migos, was also related to Quavo and Cardi B’s husband, Offset.
She posted several images of Takeoff, real name Kirsnick Khari Ball, in the Instagram post. She also revealed heartfelt texts they had exchanged, such as one in which he wrote “love you too 4L” and “thank you sis” before concluding the message.
Takeoff, your premature death has caused a lot of suffering and sorrow in so many people’s lives, Cardi tweeted. Given the profound impact you had on this world, it has been difficult for us to comprehend this tragedy. Even though I am heartbroken,
I am also grateful for all the valuable experiences we were able to have with you. This has certainly been a nightmare, and the anguish is intolerable. She said, As a Migos fan, it kil’ls me to see images and videos of you guys together and hear your songs that altered the music business,
transformed the culture, and ignited the clubs. It aches because I know things will never be the same again, but I have faith that your brothers and fans will ensure that history will never forget the difference you made. I’ll never forget your incredible talent or fierce personality. I hope you are there because you deserve all the peace and happiness there.
